Koh Phangan is one of the islands on the north of Koh Samui, in the Gulf of Thailand. Just 12 kilometres from Samui, Koh Phangan Island can be reached by ferry boat from Koh Samui, it is also linked by boat to Koh Tao Island and then Chumphon - Express Bus and Ferry  available via Chumphon to and from Koh Phangan.
